Home Relocation, Done the Way You’d Do It Yourself — If You Had the Time

Every home move starts with the same question: is this a local move or an international one? The answer changes almost everything — the packing materials, the paperwork, the timeline. Al Mas Movers runs both out of the same Dubai office, which means one survey visit gives you one accurate plan instead of two separate quotes that don’t quite line up.

For a local move, our team surveys your home, gives you a fixed estimate, and packs and transports your belongings to anywhere in the UAE — Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain or Ajman — usually within the same week you book.

For an international move, the process has more steps: survey and estimation, dismantling and labelled packing, loading, customs clearance at the destination, transport to your new address, and unpacking and re-assembly once you’re in. We currently move households by air, sea and land to routes including the UK, USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, South-East Asia, India and South Africa.

Whichever one applies to you, the same crew that surveys your home is the one that packs it — we don’t hand your inventory off between departments partway through.

Common questions

Do I need to decide local vs. international before you survey my home? No — tell us your destination when you book, and the same survey covers either scenario. Pricing and timelines are confirmed after the survey, not before.

How far in advance should I book a home relocation? For a local move within the UAE, a few days’ notice is usually enough. For international relocations, we recommend booking 2–3 weeks ahead so there’s time for customs paperwork at the destination.
